On 05/19/2010, Dred Love had our first radio show. It was wonderful. My co-host was wonderful. We discussed everything beauty, hair, fashion, and talent. It was truly amazing. I enjoy being able to discuss issues that is relevant to my community. I believe that this thing is going to grow and become bananas.
Peace and Blessings

Products
Hello everyone,
I figured out that in being natural and locked, products are very important. Some products are better than others. Our mission is to assist you with finding product that is right for you.
Right now i want to discuss a product that i have used for my locks. I am a loctician, and before i use a product on a client i first try the product to test it's quality. I purchased carol's daughters lock butter and tui smoothie conditioner. I shampoo my hair and then used the conditioner. I let it sit on much hair for five minutes. I rinsed my hair and noticed how soft my hair was. I liked that about the conditioner. I then proceeded to use the lock butter and was a bit disappointed. First of all i noticed that the product has beeswax in it. For African Americans, we do not need to use beeswax because our hair has a natural curl. So i wazzup a little skeptical about it. I chose to use the product to try it out. A couple weeks later i noticed that lint was collecting around my roots and when i shampooed my hair, it was this gunk that would not come out. This is because of the beeswax in the product. I finally got the stuff out with an apple cider vinegar rinse.
This is my results of using that product. You my try it and get different results but i will not use it again.

Just Be You!
Hello my natural and locked bruthas and sistahs this week has been amazing. I am trying to design a web page for dred love. I am also working in a spa promoting natural nail care.
Today while i was doing a manicure a lady complimented my hair. She said that she wish she had the patience to go natural and lock her hair. I thought to myself, "not again". Why does going natural need patience. I promise you that if we were in Africa, we would be natural and we wouldn't need patience cause it would be the norm. Because we are here in the States, and our culture is Europeanized (is that a word), being how we were created needs patience. Does it? I felt that way one time. I have wanted to lock my hair for years but i wouldn't. I would start the process and grow impatient and relax my hair.
Why is chemically relaxing our hair the norm.
I have made it my mission to encourage as many women as possible to be natural. Whether you are black and using relaxers, whether you are white straightening your hair, no matter who you are be yourself. If you are feeling as though it takes patience, then find that inner patience and do you.
Last story, on YouTube, a young lady by the name of Toyaboo2 did a video stating that she wants to go natural but her mom and boyfriend was negative about it. I did a video response to this video that is how moved I was by her video. I want to say to you, if you make the decision to go natural and loveones are negative about it. stay away from them and do you. You are what matter and you have got to make you happy.
Too all,
Peace to you

Natural and Loc Talk
Hello my locked and natural bruthas and sistahs. Today is Sunday May 2, 2010. This is the day that I will be posting two videos from YouTube to my fan page "Dred Love" on Facebook. The reason i do this is to inspire and motivate others. Also, to help those who are looking for different styles for their hair.
Many people feel that it is difficult styling natural hair. Truth is, it is very easy to style natural hair. In the next week, i will be sharing with you different products to make hair styling easier.
Also this week, i am posting a makeup tutorial to assist the ladies with keeping it beautiful and natural. So, definitely check out Dred love on facebook. Stay informed.
Peace to you and blessings
